As a teenager, Yvonne was a winner of jitterbug dance contests and could still cut a rug in her ‘80’s. Yvonne was also a voracious reader and active in her local Democratic Party. Her interest in politics started at a young age and she kept up with the news every day. Her lifelong ties to the Democratic Party inspired her daughter’s interest in politics and they would spend mornings discussing daily political news.

She was loved and will be remembered well by family & friends alike.

The family thanks the incredible nurses and staff at Hospice for making her last days comfortable and serene. They are truly angels!

At her request, there will be no funeral services.
