William Leonard Siewert

February 12, 1931 - February 05, 2017

William (Bill) Leonard Siewert, born February 12, 1931, passed away peacefully at home to be present with his Lord and Savior on February 5, 2017. Bill, second child of Leonard and Ruth Siewert, was born in Santa Ana, California and grew up on an orange orchard in Anaheim, California. He attended Anaheim High School and Fullerton Junior College, and graduated from Biola University in Los Angeles. Bill married his high school sweetheart Joyce Brown on July 16, 1954 at Calvary Church in Placentia, California. Bill was youth pastor and later associate pastor at Community Bible Church in Fullerton, California, head pastor of the Alliance Church in Great Falls, Montana, head pastor of the Valley Alliance Church in Spokane, Washington, as well as care pastor at Garland Alliance Church in Spokane and Shiloh Hills Fellowship also in Spokane. Bill was known for his joy of life, his love of family and friends, and his compassion for those who were hurting. Bill is predeceased by his parents and his brother John (Joyce-deceased). Bill is survived by his wife Joyce, daughter Karen (Steve), son Ron (Christy), sister Dorothy (Bob-deceased), brother Charles (Harriet), grandchildren Richard, James (Niki), Charlie, Christopher, Thomas, Christine (Trevor), Steve (Kelly), and great-grandson Kyle. A celebration of Bills life will be held at Shiloh Hills Fellowship, 207 E Lincoln Rd., Spokane, WA on March 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Union Gospel Mission.
