June 24, 1939 - January 14, 2022
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the death William (Bill) Dean Murray. Bill passed away in his sleep on the 14th of January. He was born in Vernal Utah. Bill was predeceased by his parents William Hughes, his mother Audrey Mathis, spouse, Jeanne Murray of 38 years, sister Dixie, brother Mel. Bill’s children include: daughter Carla and husband Darold Vierra of Washington, daughter Deania Murray of Washington, son William “Kevin” Murray of Washington, daughter Dawn and wife Renee Griffin of California, son Brian and wife Heather Murray of Washington, and son Zane Murray of Washington. Bill is survived by his grandchildren: Betheny and Deven Vierra, Audrey and Kellen Murray, and Demy Murray Griffin. Bill was a proud father. He was a successful businessman and entrepreneur. He served his county in the Air Force and actively served in Tripoli, Libya. He was honorably discharged and the recipient of Good Conduct Medal (25 June 56 to 24 June 59) honor. Bill loved his family, music, art, horses, fly fishing, and roses. He had an eye for detail, and everything had a place. He was loved, admired, and respected. There wasn’t anything Bill couldn’t do, he was a genius, gifted, and could ‘sell’ anything. Bill was a force of nature, determined to provide a better life for his family than he had. Dad taught us how to love, how to live, how to forgive, and how to be better people. The death of his body will not be the death of his legacy.
