William B Ailes

November 13, 1932 - July 31, 2017

Bill (Age 84) was born in Pittsburg, PA on November 13, 1932 to Clarence and Elsie Ailes. He passed away peacefully at home on July 31, 2017 in Spokane. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Virginia, children and their spouses; Karen Keene and husband Tom, William B. Ailes Jr., and Mary Beth Ailes and husband Pradeep Barua, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Bill served his entire career in ministry with the Presbyterian Church (PCUSA). In addition to his church work, he was an active community volunteer, serving in varied roles throughout his life. He leaves behind a remarkable legacy of service and love for his family and friends. The family would like to thank his caregivers at Horizon Hospice and Angel Care for their love, care and support. A Worship Service and Memorial Reception will be held at Northwood Presbyterian Church, 6721 N. Monroe St., Spokane, WA 99208 at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
