William better known as Bill, was a strong-minded but kind man who was not afraid to let you know when he was right. He spent many of his years working as a Millwright which took a toll on his body, but Bill was not the kind of man to ever take the easy way out. This was how he lived, working hard, and staying busy. Even when he could barely walk, he would make plans to go golfing or mow the lawn, anything to show that he was still just as strong as he once was. He was passionate about working with his hands and helping others in need.
Bill was someone who really loved the simple things, he could be found sitting on the porch he built by hand next to a cup of coffee and a cigarette telling stories about the past while looking out over the freshly cut grass just taking it all in.
Bill would eventually succumb to Small Cell Lung Cancer as well as other health complications, he is survived by his two children Kimberly (Mat) and Jacob (Jeanie), his grandchildren Amelia and Kane as well as his sister Mary (Ray). He was loved by many and will be remembered as someone that didn’t know when to quit. M.T.B.W.
Love you Dad!
