April 18, 1955 - June 27, 2016

Von was born April 18, 1955, in Spokane WA to Clyde and Adelia Aldendorf, and passed away on June 27, 2016, in Spokane, where he lived most of his life. He married Meg on November 27, 1993. Von had special talents in both sheet metal work and working with wood; he could take a piece of wood and create a beautiful piece of furniture. He also loved the water, fishing and gardening. Von is survived by his wife, Meg; children, Naden (Alicia), Nick (Jody), Aimee,or Bremerton, WA and Adam (Avie); and nine grandchildren, all of Spokane, WA; and sister, Vonette (Jon), of Vacaville, CA. Also extended family, brother-in-law, Rett (Kathy), of Eugene, OR and children Becky and two grandchildren, of Phoenix, AZ, and Ted (Heidi) and one grandchild, of Beaufort, SC. He is preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at Sunset Chapel Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley, Spokane WA. Donations can be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
