A light was called home on February 2nd 2024, Vickie Lynn Moore; a mother, grandmother and friend. Cherished and honored by her soulmate Douglas Duke, her four children: Miranda, Brittany, Jared, Mckenzie, and her three grandchildren: Preston, Cashton, and Camilynn.
She is remembered as a light that brought joy to so many. She was loved by family and friends and friends who became family. Throughout, the years her time was spent raising her children as well as having a hand in raising a number of children as she had an in home daycare a majority of her adult life. She spent her time being present with her family cooking, laughing and playing. Her faith was strong; she would pray for everyone’s health and happiness including strangers she had just met. With no questions or judgement she would be the first to embrace you and give you the shirt off her back.
