Traci Adelaide Richardson

Updated: Jan 25, 2024

January 22, 1976 - September 06, 2023

Traci Adelaide Richardson (nee Jeffries) suddenly and unexpectedly left this earth on September 6, 2023 leaving behind her stunned family and friends. Traci was born on January 22, 1976 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Spokane, Washington where her brother Luke and mother Jenny reside.   Traci graduated from University High School and furthered her education at Spokane Community College where she studied Cosmetology. In the spring of 1996 she started her career at 30th off Grand, a prestigious hair salon on Spokane’s south hill. She continued her training, specializing in color. There she made some of her closest, lifelong friends. Not long after that, she moved locations to Salon Nouveau in Spokane’s downtown. While there, she married Matt Richardson in March of 2000. Shortly afterwards, they started a family. Traci chose to leave hairdressing to stay home and raise her beloved children Lucas, Jack, and Ava.    Traci took great joy in her children and their various activities. She loved nothing more than being a mom to them. She had a charismatic personality, a contagious laugh, and a bright smile that would light up a room. She had a zest for life and she lived each moment to the fullest. Her family, friends and everyone she encountered are left with a huge void that will be hard to fill, due to her big personality.   Traci is survived by her mother Jenny Carr, her brother Luke Jeffries, her three children Lucas, Jack, and Ava, her niece Ashlea, her uncle Warren and his wife Rhonda, her dear friends Stephanie, Scotta and Daniel and numerous family members and lifelong friends. Traci’s viewing and burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery on Pines and 16th on September 27th at 1:30pm. A memorial service will follow at a later date.
