August 25, 1943 - November 04, 2020

Todd Sheldon Zimprich entered the kingdom of the Lord on November 4, 2020 in Spokane, WA. Todd was 77 years old. Todd was born August 25, 1943 in Spokane, WA to Henry and Helen Zimprich. He attended Arlington Elementary School and graduated from Rogers High School. As a youth, Todd worked in the fields up on Five Mile for the farmers. He loved working with his hands. He went on to SCC and received his certificate in Sheet Metal. This is the field he worked in for more than 50 years for many of the sheet metal shops in the Spokane area. It was always interesting to drive through Spokane and the surrounding town because he would say, “I worked on that building” and then go on to tell stories about the job. Todd loved working with his hands and being outdoors. He hunted, fished, camped, and gardened. He spent time with woodworking, metal working, and stained glass. He was always trying to create something. He had been a member of the Spokane 4 Wheelers and NORRA Racing. This fulfilled his love of jeeps and drag racing. Todd loved his family. They were the most important part of his life. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jacqueline, his sons Anthony Zimprich/Mark Simmons in Scottsdale, AZ, Donald Zimprich in Tucson, AZ, daughters Julie Koons and John in Spokane and Melinda Shastid and Dean in Rosamond, CA. His 8 grandchildren Nathan, Lucas, Jeremy and Mackenzie Zimprich, John and Jazmin Koons, Krysta Shastid and Kayla Mihalek. He also had 5 great grandchildren. His sister Jane Costin, and numerous nieces and nephews. And his dog, Roni. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Helen, his father in law, George Groth, his brother in law, Joe Costin and his sister in law Cheryl Groth. Due to Covid and his wishes, there will not be services. Contributions may be made to the Spokane Humane Society.
