Thomas (Tom) Roger Forin

June 06, 1938 - February 01, 2016

In Celebration of Tom Forin. Devoted husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. Tom served his country for 22years as active military and another 22 years in civil service, retiring at Fairchild A.F.B. Tom was an avid baseball player, bowlerand fisherman - walleye was his game. Tom and Pam raised 5 independent, boisterous, happy children - who married and had children who are all independent, boisterous and happy. Tom, Pam and the kids travelled the world and did some amazing things. Today we celebrate Big "T''s wonderful life. We will love you always and miss your forever! Tom's service will take place on Friday, February 26 at 1:30 pm at Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake (www.dv.wa.gov/cemetary/about-us). Following the service, we will celebrate Tom at Darcy's Restaurant at 4:00 pm in Spokane Valley (darcysrestaurantandspirits.com). Please wear colors (red and yellow were Tom's favorites) - no black! Bring your favorite story to tell about a great time you had with Tom. There are lots of them! In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Spokane Humane Society (spokanehumanesociety.org) or the American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org). FORIN, Thomas (Tom) Msgt. USAF (Retired) Born on June 6, 1938 in Detroit, MI to Reno & Zena Fiorini, Tom passed away on February 1, 2016, in Spokane Valley, WA. He served his country with honors for 21 years in USAF, and a further 21 plus years working for the civil service at Fairchild Air Force Base. He is survived by his wife Pam; children, Dan (Kerry), Mike (Kim), Julia (John), Shawna (Gary), Tracy (Matt); brothers, Mike and Gordon; brother-in-law, Bob Dompier (Sherry); his grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Services will be held at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA on February 26, 2016 at 1:30 PM, followed by a celebration of his life at Darcy’s restaurant at University City Shopping Center at 4pm.
