Thomas Havey, 78 of Spokane, died, June 23, 2021 from kidney disease. Born August 3, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Cyril Thomas Havey and Celeste Berg Havey. He was the oldest of 8 siblings. Havey graduated from Loyola High School in Los Angeles in 1960 and from Gonzaga University in 1966. While at Gonzaga he met his wife Susan Harootunian Havey and they were married in 1962. He worked as a credit manager and contract administrator for Acme Concrete and later Central Premix, retiring in 2011. Thomas enjoyed Cribbage, Dominoes, stamp collecting, ZAG basketball and family vacations on the Oregon Coast. He was well known for his Hawaiian shirts and barbequing his famous ribs for neighborhood and family gatherings after Bloomsday. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. Survivors include son: Thomas Charles (Jennie) of Wilsonville, OR; daughters: Reagan (Richard), Betsy, of Spokane, and grandsons: Robert, Eric, Mathias and Ethan; sisters: Kathy, Candy, Patty, and brothers: Kelly and Jim. No service will be held at his request. A family celebration will be held during the summer. If you wish to honor Tom, please donate to the charity of your choice.
