April 02, 1953 - September 22, 2021
Susan Conley, lovingly known as Mama Sue, is an example of perseverance. She passed away September 22, 2021, surrounded by family, after long battles with MS and interstitial lung disease. Susan was born in Spokane on April 2, 1953. She graduated from Rogers High School before attending Spokane Community College where a work study led to a 30 year tenure at Fastener's Inc. Susan enjoyed tending to her garden, loved shopping, and was known for her collection of antique teapots and frog knick-knacks of all kinds. More importantly, Susan had the ability to make the most of life in spite of her health challenges. Susan is survived by her loving husband Paul Conley of 40 years, children Andy, Brandon, and Courtney, four grandchildren, and her siblings Jimmy, Linda, and Ralph. A special thank you to the staff of Hospice of Spokane for making her final days comfortable, and her pulmonologist Dr. Raghu of the University of Washington for his skillful care. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 30, 2021 at 1pm at the Fairmount Memorial Sunset Chapel.
