Sharon Kay (Pool) Russell was born on June 16, 1941, in Sheridan, Wyoming, and passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026. Sharon was devoted to her family and was the beloved wife of Donald G. Sharon earned her nursing degree through Deaconess Medical Hospital in Spokane and went on to enjoy a successful and fulfilling career in nursing before retiring. Family was always at the heart of Sharon’s life. She and Don treasured every opportunity to spend time with their children and grandchildren. She also shared a special bond with her sister’s family, and many weekends were filled with laughter, family gatherings, and time together around a backyard swimming pool—whether at her sister’s home or her own. Annual family reunions in Montana were a cherished highlight, filled with visiting loved ones and making memories together. These simple, joyful moments became treasured memories for generations of their family.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
