Sharon Alberta Branda (Brandt), of Spokane, Washington, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the age of 84.
Sharon was born December 31, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Wilfred L. and Margaret E. Brandt. Her family later moved to Spokane, where she was raised. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1959.
Sharon cherished time with her family and friends. She had a deep love for flowers and decorating, working for several years as a florist at Safeway. She later fulfilled her passion by opening a gift shop, Windows of the Heart, with her daughters Lisa, Sari, and Lori, where she enjoyed designing wreaths and floral arrangements.
Sharon will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness and generous heart. She was a loving, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved her family deeply.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Branda; her four daughters: Lisa (Mike Hanson), Sari (Rob Wilson), Lori (Randy Legg), and Amber Branda; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church, 4102 S. Crestline, Spokane, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
