Sandra J Hanson

June 04, 1945 - January 23, 2015

Sandy passed away peacefully on January 23, 2015 as a result of extended health problems. Her last day was one of happiness and optimism for the future. She rests in peace with her 2 favorite companions, Maxi and Honey Bee and looked forward to being with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A graduate of Shadle Park, she met and married her lifetime love, Robert E. Hanson; having just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on November 7, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Howard and Bettydean Johnson. She leaves behind her husband, Bob, one son Robert H. (Svetlana) Hanson, their daughter Irina; one sister Nancy, one brother Paul, stepmother Maggie; numerous nieces and nephews and her latest love Callie Jo Schnauzer. Rest in Peace Sandy. The family would like to welcome you to a Celebration of Life located at the Sunset Chapel of Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley on February 3, 2015 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, Sandy would have liked donations be made to your favorite animal shelter or the Humane Society.
