Sandra Ann Willcocks

May 21, 1947 - February 11, 2018

Sandra Ann Willcocks (Harden) passed away February 11, 2018. She was born May 21, 1947 in Spokane, WA to Gene and Wilda Harden. Their family farmed in Almira, WA, where she was raised. Sandra graduated valedictorian from Almira High School in 1964-65. - Sandra was a longtime resident and co-owner of Yancey Tile in Spokane, WA. Sandra was known as the “other mother” to Mark and his family as she was just too nice to be the “stepmother”. Mark was her caregiver for the past 12years and did not get to say goodbye as she passed in her sleep. She loved her cats and dogs, they were her babies and don’t forget fishing. She loved to help Mark in remolding the house. Sandy was the kindest lady that I know and will be missed by all of the many friends and neighbors. - Sandra was preceded in death by her husbands, Alvin Yancey and Ronald Willcocks. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Kintener, two grandsons, and stepson, Mark Willcocks, all of Spokane, sisters; Joyce Golding, Bend, OR, and Kitty Eagle, Spokane, WA, and her brother Robert (Bob) Harden of Almira, WA. - Please join the family in remembering Sandra. An open house will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the V.F.W., 212 S David Rd, Spokane Valley, WA.
