Sally K Glase

August 28, 1942 - September 27, 2014

Sally B. Glase (Sarah Kay) On September 27, 2014, 72 year old Spokane native and Liberty Lake resident Sally Broom Glase passed away at her home. She was born on August 28, 1942 to Ronald S. Broom and Mary Kay Broom of Spokane. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Peter J. Glase, son Peter David Glase (Brandy), Gig Harbor, WA, daughter Hillary Kay Allion (Alex), Phoenix, AZ, granddaughter Hailey Kay Cooper, Phoenix, AZ, and brother David L. Broom (Mary Jane) of Spokane. Sally graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane in 1960 where she was a cheerleader, student leader, and a ranked junior tennis player. Sally was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and graduate of the University of Washington in Speech and Hearing in 1964. Peter and Sally met at the University of Washington, were married after graduation and moved to Salem, OR where Peter attended Willamette Law School and Sally worked as a Speech Therapist. After Law School, they spent two years in the military where son Peter David was born, then settled in Bellevue, Washington. While raising her family, Sally was the Treasurer of the Lake Washington Kidney Center. Sally and Pete were active in supporting the University of Washington and Husky Athletics. Her greatest joy since childhood was spending time at Liberty Lake where she and Peter retired in 2007.
