July 14, 1987 - September 27, 2023
Ryan Marshall Quick July 14, 1987 – September 27, 2023 Ryan was born in Spokane Valley, WA. He lived in the valley all his life. After he graduated from University High School, he went to Spokane Community College and earned a degree in advanced automotive technology. He worked for AutoZone, O’Reilly’s, and Napa. His last job was as customer support for Electronic Transfer Inc. When Ryan was born, he was truly a gift from God. A retirement present for his mom and dad as his father had just retired from the Air force. His mother started a daycare in her home so she could enjoy her baby. So, Ryan grew up in daycare and always had kids around to play with. Ryan took Karate for several years as a child. He always has loved cars and all things about them. Ryan has worked on many cars: his, his mom’s van and his brothers’ and friends’ cars. Always willing to take on a challenge. Anytime he could help someone he would. Ryan’s current favorite car was his 1999 Jeep Wrangler. He put a lot of love and work on it to make it just right. Ryan was a member of TOPS for many years. He had known many of the members all his life. He was a truly wonderful old soul. After Ryan’s father passed away he became his mom’s main help. They spent a lot of time together. Ryan has been on many adventures. He loved to travel and has been to Disneyland and Disney World. Lots of camping and Hawaii and was on a lot of mom adventures. She always said he was her best friend and that missing him is so hard because they had many more adventures to go on together. Ryan, we will always miss and love you. You have left us with a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. Preceding Ryan in death were his brother, Wayne, and his father Charles Quick. Ryan is survived by his mother Linda, his brother Matthew Quick (Gisela), his niece Holli, nephew Hunter, and sister-in-law Lesle Quick. Ryan’s Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on October 27, 2023 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in the Spokane Valley. There will be a potluck in the fellowship hall following the service.
