Was born on May 13, 1927 in Loveland, CO and entered into rest early November 15th, 2013. She was the daughter of George and Anna Kness. Ruth was raised in Johnston, CO in a loving family of nine children. Ruth was a lifelong Christian who deeply loved the Lord. She attended and was a member of Fourth Memorial Church for 20 years. Ruth loved people of all ages and worked in the nursery and at the door for many years as a greeter. Ruth was the loving wife of Robert Marikle and the mother of two children. Deborah A. Pauletto (Stephen) of Spokane and Bryan (Julie) of California. Ruth had six grandchildren, three of which live in Spokane, Christopher (Angi), Jared (Cindy) and Brayden (Janine). Ginni (Will) of Las Vegas, NV and Troy and Trent both in California. Ruth was also the proud great-grandmother of eight. (Kayleen, Abbie, Joshua, Micah, Gabriel, Kendyl, Tori and Bella.) Ruth is also survived by a sister, Clara B. Weickum of Denver, CO and many nieces and nephews in Colorado and Washington as well as Oregon and Florida. Ruth will be greatly missed by a loving family including her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well as many dear friends. The family would also like to thank the 5th floor staff at Holy Family (especially Levi) and the Hospice of Spokane. A memorial service is scheduled for Ruth at 1pm on Saturday, November 23rd at Fourth Memorial Church, 2000 N. Standard, Spokane.
