May 26, 1949 - August 12, 2023
With profound sadness, the family of Ron Stone mourns his passing. He died peacefully in his sleep on August 12, 2023. Born May 26, 1949, in Spokane, Ron was a happy, energetic, and talented guy who was gifted in a variety of realms. Early on he demonstrated an interest in conceptualizing how things were put together. Starting with the endeavors of making a wooden hydroplane in his basement, creating songs on his accordion, and perfecting the calls of a circus ringmaster, Ron found success in a wide array of artistic pleasures. Later in his life he fashioned one-of-a-kind living spaces, outstanding interactive web sites, fine-tuned perfect golf swings, floated through snow and water cutting turns on skis, forged friendships, and always found time to care for the needs of others. He has left behind a sister, brother-in-law, nieces and their spouses, and many grand nieces and nephews, who miss him beyond imagination. Our hearts break that he has left us, yet each of us remembers the never-ending kindnesses and care he left behind. We love you Uncle Ronnie. He will also be deeply missed by his friends and loved ones whom he loved from the bottom of his heart. Fulfilling Ron’s wishes, a formal funeral will not be held. His family would love it if you would share a memory about Ron or simply leave a message on his page. Because of Ron’s passion for golf and especially his desire to involve kids in the game, his family suggests a donation to; The First Tee of Spokane in memory of Ronald R. Stone. https://inwgolffoundation.org/donate This organization provides young people with character-building and life skills lessons using golf as the focus.
