Robert E. Wihtelin, age 94, married to Sharon Wihtelin, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 15, 2023. He was an only child born in Fitchburg MA. June 25,1929, to his father Otto Wihtelin, and his mother Vieno Karjalainen. He was a 1947 graduate of Fitchburg High School. Soon after graduating he enlisted in the Air Force, where he served four years. In those four years he married Vera L. He was kind, loving, humble, but most of all he was Bad Boy Bob. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knows him. He leaves behind his wife Sharon Wihtelin, his daughter Martha Loberg, his son Lloyd Loberg, and a whole gaggle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
