Ricky Reyes Griffis, aged 39, passed away on May 8, 2024, in Spokane, WA. Born on March 7, 1985, in Renton, WA, Ricky was known for his charismatic smile and vibrant presence on stage, whether in drama or in the boxing ring. His determination and resilience shone brightly throughout his life, marked by his time at Havre High School and briefly at the University of Montana.

Ricky is survived by his father, Raymond Garcia, and mother, Laura Ison. His legacy continues through his sisters Ramanda, Destiny, and Toni, and brothers Gary and CJ. He was preceded in death by his brothers Andy and Cody. Ricky also leaves behind an extensive nontraditional family, whose members he affectionately regarded as additional parents and siblings.

A private cremation service will be directed by Pacific NW Cremation North in Spokane, WA, and will take place on May 23 at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. A celebration of Ricky’s life is scheduled for June 29 at 3 PM in Butte, MT, at 230 S Washington Street. Friends and family are invited to share their memories, with a BBQ planned; contributions of side dishes or desserts are welcome.

Ricky’s passions included wrestling, drama, and boxing, activities that allowed him to express his tenacity and artistic spirit. His life’s impacts are cherished by all who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed.
