Richard Neil Rowley 1940 ~ 2026

Richard Neil Rowley fell asleep in death on April 18, 2026. He is survived by his loving wife, Cresilda Campaan Rowley, whom he married on October 9, 2001, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Philippines. They have two precious daughters, Pamela and Sophia. He is also survived by other children Richard (Dick), Andrea, Jane, Luke, Samuel and Jeanette. He is survived by his sister Pat Bidwell and sister & brother-in-law, Rita & Ben Hinken.
He was predeceased in death by his father, Richard Shen Rowley and mother, Clover Dell McLain Rowley as well as his siblings Joyce Yarroll and Willard Rowley and his brother-in-law’s Glen Yarroll and Bernie Bidwell.
Richard was born in Spokane, WA on March 22, 1940, and served in the US Navy and Coast Guard as a First Class Sonarman. He was employed at Qualex Manufacturing as a uranium tester. He also worked at Kodak and many other companies as a technician and even drove a school bus!
Richard was musically gifted and loved singing, playing the guitar, banjo and trumpet. He played in a band called the Misfits. He also liked working on cars and enjoyed taking his daughters fishing and watching old westerns and movies with them.
Richard was also a talented artist who liked drawing cartoons and making ceramic figurines such as Alaskan snow clams. He was quick witted and had a good sense of humor. He was dearly loved by his family and many lifelong friends!
A graveside service will be held at Wayside Cemetery, Hamann Corner in Spokane, at the convenience of the family.
