Richard Allen Keller, born March 9th, 1951 age 65 was welcomed to heaven by Jesus and His choir of angels April 21, 2016 after fighting cancer for two years. Rick lived life to the fullest always pursing his passion of hydroplane racing. Rick laughed frequently, and always worked to bring smiles to the faces of all he knew. He offered his time and help with all people he came in contact with no matter the day, time or situation. Rick also loved deeply and was always surrounded by those who loved him in return. Rick was preceded in death by his father Richard Keller. Survived by his mother Lena Keller; his wife Sharon Keller; his daughters, Jill Walling and Laura Keller; son-in-law Toby Walling; grandchildren William Day, Honor Day, Gracie Day, Payton Walling and Jaden Walling; four brothers Gary, Tim, Steve, and Dennis Keller; sister Janice Wade; and sister-in-law Ann Thorstenson. We wish to give Medina, RN with Hospice of Spokane a special thanks for her gentle, caring compassion and support during his final days. A memorial service will be held honoring Rick’s life at Valley Fourth Church, 2303 S Bowdish, Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99206, Saturday, May 7th, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Following the service a celebration of life will be held at Sweet Old Bob’s, 3243 E Trent, Spokane, WA 99202. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ryan & Jenny Dawson with the Spokane Turbine Center by going to www.mpaviation.org under the need tab to further their mission in Central America or Hospice of Spokane.
