Ramona Louise Lance

April 22, 1944 - December 28, 2018

Let me start by saying there are no words that can or will describe the loss of Ramona by her family and friends. Ramona Louise Lance passed away peacefully and joined our Lord on 12/28/2018 at the age of 74 with loved ones by her side at the Schneidmiller Home located in CDA, Idaho. She was born in Newport, WA on April 22, 1944. A long-time resident of the Spokane area, she resided in Usk, Cusick, Spokane, moved to California as a teen, married Leslie L. Lance Aug 5 1961. Had three children, divorced, remarried and returned to Spokane Valley 1976. One of her lifelong goals in life was owning her home free and clear and she accomplished that dream 2 months ago. Recently retired from Fred Myer' s in Spokane Valley where she worked in Playland and prior in nutrition. Ramona was a 25 year SURVIVOR of breast cancer she WON that battle. In June of this year she started another battle with lung cancer (not any part of breast cancer) the cancer took her life but she won her battle and became cancer free, when she was reunited with our lord. Preceded in death by her parents Donald F. Bush, Helen Bush, Brother Donald Bush and many aunts and uncles. Survived by two siblings James Bush (Joanna), Suzy Woods. Three children Daren Lance (Brenda), Leslie Lance (Rick Stewart), Curtis Lance (Erin). One foster son Bryan Wilson(Jennifer). Ten Grandchildren Jarith Sageman, Melissa Wood (Mike), Shelby Marler (Brian), Emily Head, Brody Lance (Courtney), Kyle Koch (Kendra Page), Courtney Lance, Cameron Simmons, Sean Simmons, Sophie Lance. Eight great grandchildren Kaydence, Jaden, Jayce, Chloe, Riley, Kiera, Braden, and Paislee. She was distinguished by her over whelming love for her family. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, gardening, reading, canning, trips to the casino and feeding anyone who walked through her door. Ramona also was a licensed hairstylist, and personal seamstress for many people. She was widely known for her chicken'n'dumplings and chicken noddle soup that was rumored to be able to fix any illness. Known by most as "Nana" she will forever be loved and missed. She will always be our Sunshine. May all cherish the warm memories that they have had with her and hold them dear to their heart we will. Please come and join us for the Celebration of life on Jan, 26th at Valley Real Life location 4904 N Harvard Rd Otis Orchards Wa at 2:00pm. A reception will follow at the same location all friends and family welcome
