Paula Rae Terris

February 12, 1943 - June 05, 2015

Paula Rae Terris of Spokane, WA, passed away on June 5th, in Spokane, Washington. Memorial service wiII be held at The Lincoln Center, in the Lincoln Ballroom, 1316 N Lincoln St, Spokane, WA, on June 19th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with family officiating. Community Cremation & Funeral are handling the funeral arrangements. Paula was born in Seattle, WA to Dorothy and Paul Rogers on February 12th, 1943. She grew up in Spokane, WA and lived in the Spokane Valley for most of her childhood and adult life. Paula and Kevin were married in 1962. Over the past several years, Paula and her husband, Kevin, became snow birds and lived half the year in Mesa, Arizona. She went to high school at Central Valley and graduated in 1961. She worked in retail sales at the Downtown Bon Marche, for 30 years. She then became an Instructional Assistant for Central Valley School District, where she loved working with students and teachers. Paula has four children whom she adored and they absolutely adored her, as well. She was truly a mother for life and extended her gratitude toward all eight of her precious grandchildren. Paula loved to cook and she prepared beautiful meals for her family and friends, on many special occasions. She enjoyed golfing with the Down River Ladies Golf League and Esmeralda Ladies Golf League. Traveling in the motorhome, with her husband Kevin, was the highlight of her life. They traveled throughout the United States, especially Arizona, and to Canada where they spent time with countless, wonderful friends. Playing endless hours of cribbage with friends and family brought her great joy. Paula also loved to sew and made beautiful garments, especially for special occasions. Throughout the years at The Bon Marche, she received several awards for being the top sales person of the year. Paula volunteered her time by doing many jobs for her golf leagues, which she graciously took on, in order to make sure things went smoothly and were well organized. Paula is preceded in death by her father and mother, Paul and Dorothy Rogers, father and mother-In-law, John Terris and Donna Terris-Franke, and brother-in-law, Keith Terris. Paula is survived by her husband, Kevin Terris, daughters, Teresa Johnson and Traci Naccarato, and son-in-law, Mike Naccarato of Spokane, WA.Daughter, Lisa Sofie, and son-in-law, Travis Sofie of Lake Stevens, WA. Son, Kevin Terris, and daughter-in-law, Jody Terris of Tonasket, WA. Brothers, Terry and Jim Rogers and brother-in-law, John Terris. Grandchildren, Brandon and Justin Johnson, Bradley and Cole Sofie, Jenna and Mikayla Naccarato, Trevor and Johnna Terris. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Horizon Hospice, 123 W.
