Patrick John Bergin

May 14, 1949 - June 23, 2017

BERGIN, Patrick John - (Age 68) "Pat" passed away in Spokane, WA on June 23, 2017. He was born in Spokane to Lucille and John "Johnny" Bergin, the second of four brothers. As a youth, he attended St. Ann's School and went on to graduate from Gonzaga Prep in 1967. His lifelong career was as an insulator and estimator, and he was a member of Local 82, though he wouldn't say he was a proud member. He was proud to be a 4th degree black belt in Judo and head instructor at Pacific Judo and if you knew him, he was the hardest working man you knew. As a single father of three daughters, he still managed to keep all of his hair, and, of his daughters he is most proud. He is survived by many family and friends, including his brothers, Bob Bergin, Mike (Lakay) Bergin and Bill Judy) Bergin; his beloved cousin, Carol; his daughters, Michelle (Steve) Siderius, Robyn (Orin) Kolaitis and Pamela Bergin; and seven grandchildren who will always remember Grandpa for his inappropriate wit, quiet strength and cool Corvettes! - A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 7th at 10:00 am in the Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley. - A Reception will follow immediately after the service.
