Orthodox Christian Memory Eternal

03/13/1995 - 09/26/2026

Nicholas “Nick” Alexander Hill, age 31, died at Sacred Heart Medical Center with his family by his side gently into the arms of the Lord on September 26, 2026.

Nick was born to Mikki Hill and Chris Hill at Sacred Heart Hospital on March 13, 1995. Raised in Spokane Washington. Nick attended St. Patrick’s Private School where he loved hanging out with his friends, playing on the football team and learned he had a natural ability to play music. While continuing his love of drums and music he played in marching band and jazz band while attending Gonzaga Prep. He went on to win the Herman Jazz Award for best jazz drummer. He would finish his middle schooling at Mountain View Middle, where he was on the wrestling team, in jazz and marching band. Nick worked hard to graduate on June 6, 2013, from West Valley School District. He also continued his football and wrestling at Spokane Youth Sports.

Nick’s ability to play music and the drums was profound. He eventually became an expert at double bass drumming. While drums were his favorite, he also loved playing the guitar. He later became a fill in drummer for bands in the area. He LOVED rocking out.

Nicks favorite things to do were boating, watching football with his dad Chris, being at the lake with his family, spending time with his friends and roommates, eating! Specifically double-double pepperoni pizza from Domino’s pizza that his mother would frequently buy for him. He also enjoyed the many outings that his mother Mikki would take him on. Such as going to Coeur d'Alene Lake to go on walks and get ice cream and enjoying a burger and milkshake at Zips as well as so much more always making sure he kept going.

Nick had a beautiful soul, he was always kind, saw the good in people, forever thankful and never complained about anything. He had eyes as blue as the ocean, a contagious laugh with a cute little smirk and wonderful sense of humor. He was a goofball. Nick was one of the strongest, bravest people to endure one of the hardest mental illnesses and he did it with grace. Taken too early and we are forever thankful for the time we had with Nick. Forever in our hearts. Rest easy.

Nicholas is survived by his mother, Mikki Hill; his father and stepmother, Chris and Lisa Hill; his sisters, Nicole Bercier and her husband, Josh Bercier, and Jennifer Hill and her husband, Kris Bischoff; his cherished nieces, Athena Bercier and Amethyst Bischoff; his nephew, Xavier Bercier; his beloved grandmothers, Carla Ellis and Lonna Baldwin; and many loving extended family members.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

To the sweet kid I met with his Uncle Al. He was a great musician and a wonderful son, brother and nephew.

I hope your welcome into heaven was met with the family who went before you. Go rest high on that beautiful mountain and know you left a positive mark in our lives and we will miss you. Cecilia Millet
