Nellie Alice Heaton

December 28, 1951 - August 27, 2021

Nellie (Age 69) was born in Isabelle, Missouri, on December 28, 1951, to William and Mertle Smart. She passed away on August 27, 2021. She was next to the youngest of five girls and five boys. She married Doug Heaton in Peoria, Illinois. Their daughter Darla was born in Peoria in 1971. The family moved to Spokane in 1972. She loved to be with family. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, car rides, and camping. Nellie is preceded in death by her husband, Doug, and is survived by her only child Darla S. Olson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
