Nancy Louisa Burley (65), passed away November 1, 2014 at the Hospice House of Spokane with her family by her side. She was born in Bryn Mawr, PA, the daughter of the late Commander Charles F Jr. and Susan Bergh. Nancy graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1968 after serving as the first Rotary exchange student to Hopetoun, Australia in 1967. She attended Eastern Washington University where she met her husband of 44 years, Wayne who she married in 1970. In addition to raising her two sons, Nancy worked for many years as a real estate paralegal and then later helped manage Electrical Service Products, the business started with her husband in 1986. Nancy lived a life of compassion, humble generosity, and love of family. She was an avid genealogist and thrived on keeping the family stories and traditions alive. Nancy also enjoyed quilting, but even more importantly, she loved creating quilts for family, friends and charities. She is survived by her husband Wayne, brothers Robert, Bill and Carl, sons Mason and Todd and their wives Laurel and Tricia along with seven grandchildren (Wyatt, Kymani, Chloe, Isiah, Lucca, Vander, and Micah). A celebration of her life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, November 15 at St. Markâ??s Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (jdrf.org).
