Monte Lee Bareither

Monte Lee Bareither, 71, of Mt. Hope, Washington, passed away on August 11, 2023. Monte was born on November 29, 1951, to Levi and Patricia Bareither in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1970. Monte was always employed in the agricultural industry, starting at the age of 13 working for family farms. He went on to work for various fertilizer companies and eventually became a manager and enjoyed talking to the many farmers he served. Monte delivered propane for Northern Energy until he retired. He enjoyed hunting, running, mountain biking, camping, snowmobiling, picking huckleberries, and going for walks. Monte is survived by his wife Deanna of 47 years, daughters Molly (Joey) Turner, Mindy (Mason) Powell, and Mary (Michael) Massong; grandchildren, Cody and Cameron Wright, Bryce Turner, and Cora Powell; sister Bonnie (Colonel) Walker, and his brother Mark (Sandy) Bareither; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A service in honor of Monte will be held on September 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Assembly located at 15618 E. Broadway Avenue, Spokane Valley, Washington 99037. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Valley Assembly Food Pantry (address above).
