Michelle Rae Schneidmiller (née Gerimonte)

It is with a heavy heart, but a rejoicing soul, I share the news that Michelle went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 1st, 2026.

Michelle was born on September 16th, 1975, to Michael and Diane Gerimonte, and was the youngest of two children. Being the youngest did not stop her from keeping up with the family, whether it was going fishing with her dad or playing catch, football, and baseball

with her older brother, Darrin. She grew up in the area and graduated from East Valley High School in 1994. Michelle worked for Fred Meyer Grocery from 1993 to 2001. She successfully worked her way up to PIC Manager, managing the front end of the store and leading up to 60 employees by the age of 24. In January of 2000, a serendipitous blind date changed her life when a mutual friend introduced Ryan and Michelle. Michelle knew right away that she had met her true love and soulmate, and they were married in July of 2000. Michelle loved being a wife and a mother to their two children, and later, a doting owner

to their two dogs as well. Being a mother was Michelle’s greatest joy; there was nothing she loved more than her children, Morgan and Alex, who were truly her world. Michelle was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She possessed a beautiful spirit, a generous heart, and a strength that inspired everyone around her. She loved fiercely, cared deeply, and was known for always wanting an extra kiss or hug. She loved holidays and family gatherings for the opportunity to see everyone, celebrate, and play cards, Pictionary, and various board games for hours. We always shared laughs over funny answers during game time such as whether the temperature of lava is hotter than what you cook a pizza at, or the difference between Pilate (the judge) and Pilates (the workout). Michelle and Ryan enjoyed coaching one of Morgan’s early soccer years, then watching and traveling all over the state for the next 9 or 10 years supporting her and the game. She learned to love and understand football by playing 360 with Alex all the way up to PS 5. That also led to Shelly being a huge Seahawks fan. The Best football years were the post covid football games under the lights(the friday night lights) watching Alex play for the Bears. Michelle enjoyed her weekly cooking sessions with her mom and HOURS of cards with her Dad, and Ryan playing backup if “Paco” was not available for cards. Over the last couple of years you were working on your second read of the bible in its entirety. Your next read was going to be with a chronological Bible. Ryan has started that one but it is slow going for now.

Through the years, Michelle faced health challenges with resilience. Being diagnosed and misdiagnosed through the years. Rough diagnosis in ‘17, two big scares in ‘21.

The night of the 30th of June we went to bed talking about what the rest of the week would look like and what we would be doing for the fourth and how we should celebrate being in our new (to us) house

for a year on the 23rd of July. Christ had other plans and was merciful, you went from pain and weathered body to a new Creation with Christ Jesus in less than eight hours on the 1st.

She is lovingly survived by her parents, Mike and Diane Gerimonte; her brother, Darrin (Darcey) Gerimonte; her husband, Ryan; her daughter, Morgan Schneidmiller, son, Alex Schneidmiller (fiancée

Zoe McManus); Jo Ann Schneidmiller (mother in-law). She also leaves behind her four-legged friends, Bailey Oliver and Potato Michael, as well as four brother/sister inlaws and spouses, 20 nieces and

nephews, and a handful of great-nieces/nephews.

Shelly July 23rd would have been 26 years, you just missed that mark. I don’t know how to describe myself without you here in almost any sentence I say. It is going to take some time. I do not know how

long to relearn to be an I VS a we. “ My Mind still talks to you. My Heart still looks for you... My Soul knows you are at Peace” It gives me great happiness to know that it will only be a blink of an eye before we are together again on your side as described in the new and old testament 2 Peter 3 and Psalm 90 it shares that a thousand years here is like a day gone by with the Lord. It will feel like forever here, waiting to be reunited... but it will only be a moment for you when we are together again I Love U

Per Michelle’s wishes there will not be a church service. Her ask instead is for all of us to: 1. disconnect from our electronics, 2. Don’t wait, 3. Go for a walk with family and loved ones, 4. play some board and card games, 5. don’t take the Lord’s name in Vain, 6. Have a libation with lots of ice, 7. if you order something with ranch don’t skimp on it. Music Alan Jackson amazing grace, Brandon Lake Gratitude, most any Lauren Daigle song or album.
