Michael Christopher Manos

Michael Christopher “Papou” Manos, age 74, of Spokane Valley, Washington, passed away at home on September 21, 2026.

Mike was born in Spokane, Washington, on August 21, 1952, to the late Christopher “Shorty” and Helen Manos. He graduated from Central Valley High School with the class of 1971. Following graduation, Mike became self-employed in the construction industry, where he built a career with hard work, dedication, and pride in everything he did.

Shortly after, Mike met his devoted wife, Sheri Manos. The two were married on December 13, 1978, at the Greek Orthodox Church, surrounded by their family and friends. Together, Mike and Sheri built a loving family and shared nearly 48 years of marriage.

Mike and Sheri were blessed with three children: Nathan (Staci), Christopher, and Alexandria (Jeremy). He was also blessed with nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild: Michael, Isabelle (Travis), Cadence, Chloe, Marlee, Braydon, Austin, Ashton, Scarlett, and Colton.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Sheri; his children and their families; and his sister, Angie (Mel) and nephew Justin. His brothers- and sisters-in-law, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

To his family, Mike was more than a husband, father, and grandfather—he was “Papou,” a beloved presence whose love, laughter, and memories will remain with them always.

Mike was laid to rest on September 29, 2026, at Riverside Memorial Park.
