September 30, 1950-September 30, 2025

Proceeded in death by both parents and ex-husband Stanley Baldwin. Born to Myrth Looker and Roy Griffin in Michigan. Mary moved to Colfax Washington her Junior year in high school. Mary worked many jobs, from patient care in St. Ignatius Manor, to cooking in many Colfax restaurants. Later getting hired at WSU where she did cooking in a fraternity, pots and pans in a dining hall later moving to custodial work, ending up cleaning WSU owned apartments. She loved physical labor and demanding jobs. She was also a volunteer in the Albion Fire Department, even trained a first responder position. She loved fishing, camping, rock hounding, target practice she was a sharp shooter, and traveling especially cruises. Most of all she loved her family. Her favorite moments were seeing her first grandchild being born, seeing Alaska, and every moment with her grandchildren.

She had to retire early from WSU due to a crippling back injury that caused her pain all of the time for decades. She passed away from sepsis, and a heart attack rather suddenly, leaving behind 3 children: Anthony Baldwin, Andrea Baldwin, and Kirk Baldwin, and 4 grand children, Amanda Payne, Jessica Payne, Vance Payne and Thomas Baldwin. She loved all of them more than life itself.

Mary made it clear to her children she did not want a funeral or memorial, she wanted people not to mourn her passing but celebrate the good times, the special memories.
