April 27, 1961 - June 27, 2015

Marsha Lynn Swilling Teague passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the Hospice House of Spokane. She was 54. Marsha was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on April 27, 1961. Her family moved around quite a bit during her childhood, and she attended high school in Asheville, North Carolina. Before moving to Spokane, Marsha lived in Columbia, South Carolina, where she belonged to Grace United Methodist Church. She was an active member of the ladies' Brown Bag Bible Study group at Grace. Marsha loved dancing, playing pool, and going to the beach. Her greatest loves, however, were her daughter and grandchildren. Marsha will best be remembered for her infectious laugh and smile that lit up any room she entered. Marsha is survived by her mother, Dorothy Swilling, of Summerville, South Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, April and Adam Glessner, and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Teague and Seth Glessner, of Spokane Valley, Washington; brothers, Glenn and Gary Swilling, of Summerville, South Carolina; and sister, Gina Szczepanski, of Heotes, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Buster Swilling. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice House of Spokane, 367 E 7th Ave. Spokane, Washington, or to one's local hospice house.
