Passed away January 16, 2014 in Spokane, WA. Marjorie was born in Spokane in 1920 and she lived her life in Spokane. She loved getting together with family and friends. She devoted her life to caring for family that she deeply loved and all their activities. Her infectious smile and sensitive heart always shined through to all she met. She was a faithful wife to Carl Teufert since January 22, 1943. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Larry and Harley (Judy) Teufert; step sister, Genevieve Teufert; two granddaughters, two grandsons, and three great-grandsons. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Teufert; brothers, Dick, Earl, and Clarence Gates; sisters, Myrtle Atteberry, Ruby Dubert, and Ruth Davis; and parents, Charles and Tessie Gates. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 1:00 PM, at Opportunity Christian Church, 708 N. Pines, Spokane Valley, WA.
