Andy (Mangus) Anderson passed away December 8th, 2017 after a 4 year battle with cancer. Born November 1st, 1942 to Mangus and Bette Anderson in Altoona Pennsylvania, Andy was the oldest of 5 children. After Graduating from high school, Andy enlisted in the Army. Following 4 years in the service, he then moved to Colorado where he thrived in the horse racing and ranching business. In 1983 he moved to Spokane WA, where he continued training horses and transitioned into sales. In 2006, Andy started his own business, selling cars and mobile homes. Andy was known to ornery, but at the same time he had a fun-loving spirit. He was always willing to help other people, and he had a love for all animals. Andys hobbies included: spending time at the race track, watching football, watching old movies, listening to classical music, dancing, and spending time with his wife and family. Andy is survived by his wife JoAnne Roberts of 25 years, Sons Calvert Anderson, Craig (Tami) Roberts, Bruce (Merc) Roberts, daughter Danae (Troy) Heuett, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Andy was preceded in death by both of his parents, his sister, his daughter, his mother and father in-law, and 2 brother in-laws. A celebration of Andys life will take place on January 9th, 2018 at Goodtymes Bar & Grill (9214 E. Mission Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99206), from 4:00-6:00pm.
