Lorna Marie Wisemore

December 06, 1936 - February 03, 2014

Born in Edmonton, Alberta on Dec 6, 1936. Passed away peacefully in her sleep Feb 3, 2014. Lorna spent her childhood in Edmonton, one of 15 children. She graduated from Gonzaga University, and enjoyed a lifetime of teaching children in Montessori programs in Spokane, Anchorage, and Chelan. After retiring from teaching, she spread her love of theater and drama working at Project Joy, where she met her husband, Bill Wisemore, who preceded her in death. Lorna enjoyed sharing her creative talents and love of teaching, reading, singing, writing, and tea leaf reading with all her many friends and family. She is survived by her three sons and their families. Joe (Jennifer) Nollette; Maury (Kim) Nollette; Tom (Marsie) Nollette. Grandchildren Grace, Oliver, Ellie, Mason, Nathan, Moya, Elliott, Rowen, all of Spokane. Sisters, Theresa, Margaret, Anne, Marie, Colleen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 7, 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, 515 W. St. Thomas More Way. Reception to follow. We welcome everyone to join us in celebrating and remembering Lorna. The Family requests remembrances to Catholic Charities of Spokane.
