Lori Lou Guglielmo

January 11, 1958 - August 31, 2013

Passed away at home in Deer Park on August 31, 2013. She was born in Whittier, CA to David and Iris Lippert on January 11, 1958. Lori graduated from Walnut High School in Whittier, CA. At an early age Lori began her love affair with horses. She did professional parade riding at numerous venues including the Hollywood Christmas parade, Tournament of Roses Pasadena, Portland Rose parade, Spokane Torchlight parade, as well as Jimmy Carterâ??s Inaugural parade. In 1983 Lori married Sam Guglielmo and moved to Spokane, WA. Together they started the â??Heart L Ranchâ? raising Pinto and Saddlebred Pintos. Later on they started raising miniature horses and Lori became a full-time horse trainer; which is what she wanted all of her life. She spent her life teaching, educating, and making champions of horses and people that she inspired across the nation. She is survived by her husband Sam Guglielmo; son Christopher Guglielmo; brother John Lippert; nephew and nieces John, Marie, and Heidi Lippert; and all of her friends that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by both of her parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council, 6116 N Market St, Spokane, WA, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
