Linda Kathryn Duft (Kathy), Age 69, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Spokane, Washington where she and her beloved husband of 49 years, Robert (Bob) reside. Kathy was born March 1, 1952, to Richard and Wanda (Gilmore) Rinehart in Wichita, KS. She was baptized Catholic shortly after birth and practiced her faith her entire life. Elementary school was completed at Bridgeport Elementary in North Wichita followed by graduation from Wichita Heights High School in 1970. Shortly after graduation, Kathy met Bob. Bob was an airman in the USAF stationed at McConnell Airforce Base, Wichita, assigned as a missile technician at missile silos around the area. It was love at first sight for both of them. Following their courtship, they were married at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Wichita. During their 49 years of marriage, they resided in Wichita, Denver, and most recently Spokane. They had two children; Scott Duft of Denver Colorado and Lisa Wynecoop of Spokane, Washington. Survivors include her spouse Robert (Bob), son Scott (Christina) Duft, daughter Lisa (Jake) Wynecoop, grandson Oscar Duft, grandson Kyle Duft, grandson JD Lister, grandson Trace Wynecoop, granddaughter Caitlyn Wynecoop, brother Gary (Betty) Rinehart, sister Teresa (Jim) Poynter, sister Janet (Dennis) Morgan, brother Terry (Katherine) Rinehart. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Autoimmune Related Disease Association Inc. at; AARDA.Org/Donate A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held in the future when it is safer for family and friends to gather.
