Larry (Age 69) entered into his forever home in Heaven January 2, 2018. At the time of his death he was surrounded by family, his daughter Amy, son Aaron, sister Diana and grandchildren. Larry was a graduate of Harrington High School, class of 1966. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served his country in Vietnam from 1970-1971. He was proud of the American Flag and for what it stands. Larry retired from the Burlington-Northern Santa Fe Railroad in 2016 in order to spend time with his grandchildren Ramira, Rylee, Ava, Rayne, Tesla, Zeke, Elliott, Eli, and Lincoln. Larry is survived by his brother John Kloster, his sisters Diana Kloster, and Cheryl Jones, his son Aaron Green, daughter Amy Peterson, step-children Race Polston, and Tia DuChene, 9 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Larry enjoyed tennis and playing golf, and was known for his sense of humor and his ability to tell a great joke. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his kindness, and as a loving “Papa” to his grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 7 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Chapel inside Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans, 212 S.
