Kevin Stuber

December 08, 1957 - October 15, 2021

Kevin Ray Stuber Born December 8th, 1957, in Sioux Falls South Dakota to Joan Iska Brandsgaard. He was adopted by Francis Stuber when he was 5 years old. He met his wife Pam Hennagir in July 1977 in Great Falls, Montana. They got married on September 4th 1977 in Conrad Montana. At the Assembly of God church. Kevin and Pam had 3 daughters Crystal Schmautz (Husband Bob Schmautz) Silky Stuber & Selina Stuber. They have 10 Grandchildren Damian, Memorie, Christian, Elijah, Malachi, Byron, Heaven, Violette, Evvan, & Harmonie. They also have one Great Grandson Xavier. Kevin and Pam Lived in many places, Sioux Fall South Dakota, Conrad Montana , Geraldine Montana, Great Falls Montana, Baytown Texas. While in Baytown Texas, Kevin went to truck driving school in Waco, Texas. He then earned his truck driving certificate in 1980. They mostly lived in Great Falls, Montana from 1981 to 1995. Kevin suffered heart failure in Nov 1990. He did well for 4 years until he got pneumonia and became very sick. He was then told he would need a heart transplant. Kevin and Pam then moved to Spokane Washington. In February 1995. Kevin was fortunate to have great medical team at Sacred Heart hospital. He was the first-person Dr. Timothy Icenogle and Dr. David Sandler put the Heart Mate LVAD in. Keeping him alive until a transplant. Which he was blessed to receive the heart of an 18-year-old April 29th, 1996. Kevin then went back to work as soon as possible for Career Connections doing janitorial work at the Federal Building. He worked for them until they closed in the early 2000’s. He then started working for Skookum Contract Services in May 2008. Kevin did janitorial duties as well as groundskeeping at the NOSC (Navy Operational Service Center) Kevin held himself to a very high standard and had great work ethics. He even received a commendation from one of the commanding officers. Which stated Kevin Stuber went above and beyond what was expected of him! Kevin enjoyed working on cars and sharing his mechanical knowledge with anyone interested in learning. He enjoyed listening to music. Kevin and Pam loved to go for drives and listen to music just for something to do. They also enjoyed watching cartoons! Which the grandkids found extremely “Awesome!” Though Kevin was a bit “rough around the edges” and had no problem telling people when they were in the wrong! He had a big and caring heart, he always said he was living on borrowed time, and truly treasured his family and friends! Kevin worked up until June 2021. He was preceded in death by his mom and Dad. Then shortly after Kevin’s passing. His only sibling, a sister Rana Jo Wesland passed away less than 3 months later. Kevin was a caring person, who would help those in need when ever he could. Kevin Stuber passed away at home on October 13, 2021, from Metastatic Melanoma. He will be greatly missed and fondly remember by his family and friends.
