Baker, Kenneth William - (age 75) Master Chief Kenneth William Baker was born in Los Angeles, CA on November 18, 1940. He passed away with honor and dignity on September 14, 2016. Ken entered military boarding school at age 7 and at the young age of 17 enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Most of his 20 year career was spent as a Navigator on submarines. Later he enjoyed working in Coronado, CA with Seal Team #1. Ken spent the following 22 years at NASSCO in San Diego, CA overseeing the building of Naval Vessels as an Area Manager. Also took the ships out on “sea trials”. He also loved music and played percussion and drums in various bands, orchestras and at church. Ken is survived by his wife, Judith of 28 years; his children, Rob (Kelly), Lise (David), Cherry and Brandy as well as his beautiful grandchildren. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at the Moran United Methodist Church 3601 E 65th Ave, Spokane, WA on Monday October 3, 2016 at 1 p.m.
