Kathryn Elizabeth Miller, 75, was born in Dayton, WA to Harold and Lucille Miller. She attended schools in Ritzville and Spokane- graduating from Shadle Park High School in 1968. Her jobs ranged from installing auto glass to retiring after 40 years at Sacred Heart Hospitals Food Services. She still made time for her former co-workers sharing an occasional meal with good conversation and laughs. She loved her holidays
with family, Thanksgiving brought out her fruit salad that all enjoyed and always made each family a small bowl to take come. At Easter she was a great help to me creating a backyard obstacle course for a friendly competition and always looking for ways to improve it. Christmas was always a special time at her home. She spoiled us all with good food, good times, and Love. She spent a great deal of time working in her home and garden. Her flowers have already started to bloom. Always so much color.
Much of her time was spent with her friend of 40 years Jeannie (sp) who became a member of our family. They traveled to many places and had an Alaska cruise planned for this fall. She had her much loved dogs over the years, Mitzi, Sunshine, Ginger, Sammy and Dandy. Jeannie’s dogs were also much spoiled and loved by Kathy. Bullet wouldn’t eat certain things unless Kathy fixed it for him.
Kathy was an avid sports fan- following the Mariners, Seahawks and Gonzaga basketball. She often texted with our cousin Peggy while they both watched the Seahawk games. She could be found dancing to her favorite music by Cher who she was able to see in concert. She also made a special trip to see Paul McCartney in Sacramento with her friend Brenda who she had known since their school days. Her collection of windup toys is extensive, and she also has collections of Doughboy and Snoopy memorabilia. Displayed about her house are her photos of flowers, birds and whatever beautiful thing she captured.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Steve and Mark. She is survived by sister Margaret (Terry) Redd, Best friend Jeannie Howe, nieces and nephews Kathy (Jarrod) Pearce, Scotty Lawson, Brian (Celeste) Keys, Levi and Natalie Miller, Great nieces and nephews Lucas (Kaley)Pearce, Isaac Pearce, Marissa Pearce Annie Lawson, Ashlynn Tarter and Jayce Keys.
So many people were touched by your presence in this world.
You are and will always be missed by all of us.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Kathy at her home in the spring. We are looking at dates in May. Watch for news from family and friends.

I've known Kathy for many years. And though Jeanie is my sister in law, Kathy was always there to help support her with an outreach whenever we came to Spokane to visit. A boat at the lake, food to share and friends that were brought along. Kathy, u will be missed and sure wish u were on that upcoming Alaska cruise with us.
God Bless! Darla
Jeanie is my aunt, and indeed Kathy was considered a part of the family, attending family gatherings over the years. She was generous with sharing good food and bringing her own special brand of good cheer and support. I was shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. She was a unique force and will be truly missed.
