Karla Kae Werner

February 22, 1955 - November 21, 2016

WERNER, Karla K. (Age 61) - Karla was born on February 22, 1956, in Fargo, ND, to Herman & Janice Borud; she passed away November 21, 2016, in Spokane, WA. Karla was raised and married in Galesburg, ND. She married Jim Werner on June 7, 1975, before moving to Spokane in 1978. Karla spent many years working with children. Most of all, she enjoyed being a nana, mother and wife. She also spent countless hours on her gardening, sewing and crafts. Karla is survived by her husband, Jim Werner; mother, Janice Borud; children, Josh, Lisa, Nick, and Ashley; and her six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Borud. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 10, 2016, at 2:00 PM, at Timberview Church in Mead, WA. Contributions to the Werner family can be made at the service.
