K. Luke Jeffries passed away quietly in his sleep on November 14, 2024, leaving behind his family and friends and joining his sister Traci in heaven. Luke was born September 26th 1977 in Spokane Valley, Washington and fought a battle with Ankylosing Spondylitis for over 20 years. He graduated from University High School, excelling in football. He was always a hard worker, saving his money to buy his house when was just 19. He married Katy Jobb and had his daughter Ashlea, who he adored. Luke went to work for U.P.S until a work related accident triggered his above-mentioned autoimmune disease. He then worked as a manager at Regal Cinemas, following his career to Anchorage Alaska where he lived and worked for over two years. He moved back to Spokane when his health started to fail and managed the cinemas until he was no longer able to work. Though he spent much of his later life at home, he always kept a beautiful garden including his beloved roses and trees and enjoyed painting, music and writing poetry. Luke is survived by his mother Jenny, daughter Ashlea, his Uncle Warren and other family and friends. Even though Luke suffered immensely from his disease and other health issues, he seldom complained. Luke lived everyday to the fullest and always had a good sense of humor. Luke was very much loved and will be missed. Luke’s viewing and burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Pines Cemetery on Thursday December 5th at 1pm.
Luke was a brave man and made his Mother proud! He was always smiling and a joy to be around. Luke was a devoted father, brother and son. Luke will never be forgotten. Carol from Idaho
