Julia Marie O'Reilly

June 27, 1967 - April 15, 2015

Beloved wife, mother, and sister, was born on June 27, 1967 in Arlington, WA to Milton and Caroline Ofsthun and passed away on April 15, 2015 at her home in Mead, WA. She lived in Eugene, OR from 1967 – 1981; then moved to Edwall, WA (which she did not like) and attended Reardan High School (which she also did not like) where she graduated in 1985. Julia met her husband Bryon O’Reilly in 1988 and they married on Sept. 3, 1989 in Reardan, WA. She loved camping with family, bowling and just spending time with family and friends. Her first job was at Edna’s Drive Inn in Davenport, WA. Then she worked at Spokane Stamp Works, Then at Specialty Fast Foods. She finished her career at Statefarm Ins., Boutz Agency (2002-2015). Julia is survived by her husband Bryon O’Reilly; daughters, Kristin Marie O’Reilly and Megan Elizabeth O’Reilly (expecting first granddaughter, Olivia Marie O’Reilly); sisters, Nancy Babcock (Alan) and Kim Warwick (Jay); brothers, David Ofsthun, Michael Ofsthun, Mark Ofsthun and Darren Ofstun; numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnieces/nephews whom she loved very much; as well as her best friends Pam (McLain) Wedemeyer (James) and Val Shelton (Hudson). She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Gretna Green Chapel, 1403 N Washington St, Spokane, WA 99201. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (In Julia’s Name), 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1710, New York, NY 10122 or online @ www.ocrf.org.
