Joyce Anne Carpenter

November 24, 1935 - August 21, 2017

Joyce Anne Carpenter, ardent crafter and home chef, passed away at the age of 81 in Hayden, Idaho, on August 21, 2017. She died of complications from dementia and diabetes. She was born in Roseburg, Oregon on November 24, 1935 to Floy and Donald Ferguson. Survived by her spouse Gene Carpenter, her son Michael and his wife, Sharon, her daughter Susan and her husband Rudy, one grandson, and multiple grand kitties. During her life, she earned a B.S. in Food Technology at Oregon State University. She collected cookbooks, had numerous hobbies, and friends in Oregon, Colorado, and Idaho. Her ashes will be spread privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to your local food bank. Dulcius Ex Asperis.
