Josephine Marie Baesman

Josephine (Jo) Marie Baesman died May 2nd, 2026. She was born June 18th, 1951 in Kennewick, Washington, the youngest of six kids born to Carl Pickel and Willie Tee Pickel (Freeze). She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Tom, Gary, and Gail, her sister Joyce Nieto (Pickel), her grandsons Wade Moore and Michael Wade Baesman Jr. and her ex-husband, Michael Wayne Baesman.

She is most often described as quick to laugh and fun, with a great sense of humor. Her relationships with her grandchildren and great-children were a tremendous source of joy - Her wish to be an emotional support to her family.

She brought a child-like sense of fun to nearly every occasion and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children – Kem Baesman, Randi Baesman, Billie Baesman Early, and Michael Wade Baesman, her grandchildren – Christopher, Casey and Kayla Baesman, Derrick Frazier, Myla Moore, Shayla Davis, William Baesman, Ben Rothenberg, great-grandchildren Jordan and Delilah Baesman, Cayden, Cysen, Freya and Leo Baesman, Cody Judd, Kohen and Quinnley Frazier, Lilianne Moore-Griffin and Harlan Griffin, William and Lilly Gurley, Charlotte Davis , Mia and Noah Baesman, Rafe Rothenberg, Everly and Divina, who will miss their GiGi (or Go Go) dearly. She is survived by her sister Carol King, and nieces Cindy Franklyn and Cheryl Ratzlaff, her nieces Tina Patten, Sharon and Karen, nephews Tom, Greg, Israel, and niece Tami Pickel, as well as their children.
