June 13, 1984 - January 09, 2016

Passed away on January 9th, 2016 at the age of 31. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson and nephew. Joseph was born in Spokane, WA on June 13th, 1984. He is survived by his mother and father, Chrysta Maresh and Kenneth Sevey, stepmother and father, Therese Sevey and Ken Maresh, two loving sisters and brothers, Kaylie Maresh, Beth Ritchie, Justin Maresh and Nicholas Sevey as well as other loving family and friends. Joseph graduated from West Valley High School in 2001. He went on to study underwater welding at College of Oceaneering and graduated with honors at the top of his class. Joe had an outstanding work ethic and if asked by anyone they would tell you he showed great pride in anything he did. He had a true passion and love for music. Joe found happiness spending a day in the garage with his father, gliding down the slopes on the mountain with his brother (Justin) and stepfather (Ken) or relaxing in the sun on the shores of Lake Roosevelt. Joe truly was the life and light to so many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be held in his honor at Millwood Presbyterian Community Center, 3223 N. Marguerite Road, Millwood, WA on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. The family will be there to greet relatives and friends.
